Elza Cox
Elza Cox of Lowell Avenue, Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Charlie Wash Cox and Mary Cox, was born March 16, 1914 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:50 P.M., Wednesday, August 30, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. He united in marriage to Pauline Gribbins January 23, 1934. She preceded him in death February 1, 2002. He is survived by two sons and two daughters and spouses: Wilbur and Karen Cox of Campbellsville, Roger and Janet Cox of Fisherville, Barbara and Jim Boggess of Louisville and Shirley and Larry Lybrand of Mabank, Texas; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Cox of Campbellsville; caretaker and special friend, Jean Dooley; several other relatives and many friends.
