Gene Boling

Gene Boling of W. Main Street, Campbellsville, son of the late Robert Boling and Elizabeth Eudella Handy was born March 24, 1935 in Fleming County, Kentucky. He died at 6:28 P.M., Thursday, September 14, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 71 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy, retiring as Chief Master-At-Arms after twenty-two years of service having received the Good Conduct Award, Expert Marksman Medal and Meritorious Unit Commendation. He united in marriage to Ethel Thomas May 24, 1979. Besides his wife, Ethel Boling of Campbellsville, he is survived by four daughters: Patti Faith Stinson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dianna Boling and Angela Shrout of Mt. Sterling and Deanna Roberson of Owingsville; two step-daughters: Glenda Dawson of Lexington and Theresa Goebel of Texas; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and twelve step-great-grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Alma Virgilene Boling. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Skip Alexander and Rev.
