EARL E. COX
Earl E. Cox of Wood Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Andy Cox and Gustavia Clark Cox was born March 18, 1909 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:16 A.M., Monday, January 22, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 97He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He was an accomplished carpenter. He was a member of the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge #568 F and A M. He united in marriage to Flossie Cave July 28, 1928. She preceded him in death January 26, 1988. He is survived by one daughter, Opal Wood of Campbellsville; three grandchildren and spouses: Sheila and Sam Newcomb of Campbellsville, Sharon and Henry Arrowood of Smyrna, Tennessee and Steven and Connie Wood of Perryville; four great-grandchildren: Ryan Newcomb of Frankfort, Daniel Arrowood of Smyrna, Tennessee, Brittany Wood and Ashley Clark of Campbellsville; two great-great-grandchildren: Kaden Bloyd and Briley Edwards of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Hershel Cox and Della Shreve.
