Winifred Pickett Conover
Winifred Pickett Conover of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John H. Pickett and Hallie Rogers Pickett was born February 7, 1918 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:30 A.M. Friday, February 9, 2007 in Campbellsville. Age: 89She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church. She was a piano teacher and church musician for many years.She united in marriage to Dr. James R. Conover October 31, 1937. He preceded her in death January 3, 1998. She is survived by one son and one daughter and spouses: Jim Ray and Linda Conover of Titusville, Florida and Alyce and Delynn Hutchins of Campbellsville; three grandsons and spouses: Delynn Hutchins Jr. and Sharon of Hodgenville, Rob and Heather Hutchins of Bloomington, Illinois and Charles and Melissa Hutchins of Shelbyville; six great-grandchildren: Allyson Hutchins and Andrew Hutchins of Hodgenville, Grace Hutchins of Connecticut, Haley Hutchins and Holt Hutchins of Bloomington, Illinois and Ethan Hutchins of Shelbyville; one brother, Bill S. Pickett of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: John Pickett, Weldon Pickett and Evelyn Walker.
