Richard C. Hord
Richard C. Hord of Fern Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Walter Ray Hord and Elsie Frances Gore Hord, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 7, 1939. He died at 7:35 P.M., Wednesday, March 14, 2007, in Louisville. Age: 67 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Shirley Berry December 19, 1959. Besides his wife, Shirley Hord of Fern Drive in Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and one daughter and spouses: Richard D. and DeeDee Hord, Janet and Ross Bragg, Terry W. and Annette Hord, and Teddy Hord all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Brandon Hord of Georgetown, and Corey Hord, Tyler Bragg, and Alexis Bragg of Campbellsville; four sisters and one brother: Jean Wright of Greensburg, and Louise Oliver, Lois Carter, Joyce Tucker, and Kenneth Hord of Campbellsville; several other relatives and friends.
