Ruby Murphy of Smith Ridge Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rubby (Rube) Mikel and Catherine Bryant Mikel was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 12, 1951. She died at 5:23 P.M., Sunday, September 2, 2007, in Campbellsville. Age: 56She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Temple.She united in marriage to Eddie Murphy April 5, 1977.Besides her husband, Eddie Murphy, she is survived by one son and one daughter: Robbie Murphy and Patricia Murphy of Campbellsville; one grandson, Presley Schnepp of Campbellsville; two sisters and two brothers: Betty Compton, Dora Mikel, and Kenneth (Possum) Mikel of Campbellsville and Wayne Mikel of Russell Springs; two special friends, Angel Osbourn and Carolyn Bright of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother: Shirley Wise, Annette Smothers, Barbara Jean Mikel, Mary Frances Mikel, and Guy Douglas Mikel. ________________ FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at the Parrott amp; Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
