Loretta Jacobs
Loretta Jacobs, age 84, of Campbellsville, died Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Grandview Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Downs Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer L. Jacobs in 1967, her daughters, Shirley Gibbs and Nioma Allen. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Thompson, Stanley Thompson, Bernard Thompson, Harold Thompson, Everette Thompson, Roy Thompson and Polon Thompson, her sister, Helen Herron. She was a retired employee of Metzmeir Nursing Home and a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Homer and Fannie Jacobs, Jr. of Somerset, David and Connie Jacobs of Campbellsville, four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Charles Fox of Louisville, Theresa and Mike Milby, Brenda and Doug Holmes, Linda and Mike Baker all of Campbellsville, twenty five grandchildren and several great and great -great -grandchildren, one brother Albert Thompson of Omaha, Nebraska. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Muldraugh Hill Cemetery. Bro.
