William Lawrence Raffety
Lawrence Raffety of Campbellsville, son of the late Alvin Raffety and Lettie Colvin Raffety, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 7, 1924. He died at 7:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in Louisville. Age: 83He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a retired employee of Caulk Lumber Company and a retired farmerHe united in marriage to Helen White in September of 1943. She preceded him in death September 7, 1999. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Fred Raffety and wife, Catheline of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews: Brenda Thompson, Glenda Colvin, Larry Raffety and Kimberly Deener of Campbellsville; Faye Osborne of Albermarle, North Carolina and Gary A. Raffety of Richmond, Virginia, and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin C.
