He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Reid Marcum, one brother, Michael Marcum, one step daughter, Tammy Richerson. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Matney Marcum of Campbellsville, one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Steven Carter of Mt. Washington, his mother, Wanda Lee Marcum of Louisville, four step daughters, Pam and Tim Benningfield of Glendale, Amanda and Wes Vaughn, Lisa and Tim Mardis of Campbellsville, Kim Matney of Houstonville, two grandchildren, Jayden Carter and Kayleigh Carter, fourteen step grandchildren, T. J., Chasity, Tanner Benningfield, Justin and Kaitlin Mardis, Cody and Tyler Drury, McKenzie Smith, Hunter Matney, Kristi Richerson, Jamie and Amanda Richerson, step great grandchildren, Kailee, Braxtyn and Madison Abren, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lee and Greg Mears of Crestwood, Katherine and Bill Butrum of Radcliff, and Tammara and Glenn Weatherholt of Louisville, one sister-in-law, Kim Marcum of Walton, Ky. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Wednesday at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro Larry Rhodes officiating.
