Gilboa Road, Finley, daughter of the late James Thomas Hunt and Ida Ellen Hunt was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, September 23, 1922. She died at 3:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 1, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 85 size=3She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church since she was nine years old and a former Sunday School Teacher and very active in the Church all her life. size=3She was a school teacher, having taught in the Taylor County School System for several years. size=3She united in marriage to Edwin Lee Parrott May 9, 1943. He preceded her in death November 4, 1998. size=3She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth (Beth) Hunt Russell of Finley; seven nieces; two nephews; seventeen great-nieces; seven great-nephews; several great-great-nieces and nephews; several great-great-great-nieces and nephews; also Dr. Edward and Sharon Smith, who were held in her affections the place of son and daughter and their three children, Joshua, Rachael, and Hannah Smith, were considered as grandchildren; special friend, Hope Beryl of Elizabethtown; close neighbor and special caretaker for several years, Jackie Smith. size=3She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers: Winnie Hunt, Edna Reynolds, Sadie Hunt, Gatton Hunt, Ray Hunt, and James Hunt and one half-brother, Emory Hunt. size=3 ___________________________ size=3 size=3FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 4, 2008, at the size=3 Mt.
