size=2Walter Scott of Campbellsville, son of the late James Scott and Martha Brown Scott, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, July 17, 1911. He died at 3:05 A.M., Wednesday, January 30, 2008, in Campbellsville. size=2Age: 96 size=2He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Caldwell Ridge Separate Baptist Church. size=2He was a retired farmer. size=2He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army and achieving the rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with two bronze stars. size=2He united in marriage to Eunice Bright in 1949. She preceded him in death April 25, 1999. size=2He is survived by six sons and six daughters and spouses: Wilbur Scott and wife Teresa, Renita Cissell and Margaret Napier of Campbellsville, Carolyn Fowler and husband, Larry of Laurens, South Carolina, Rita Seaborne and husband, Coakley, Jr. and Gary Stapleton and wife, Wilma of Elkhorn, Bennett Stapleton and wife, Wanda and James Scott and wife, Jeania of Edinburgh, Indiana, Darrell Scott and wife, Sandy of Breeding, Frances Edwards and husband, Doug of Perryville, Lewis Scott of Lexington, and Jane Scott of North Carolina; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. size=2He was preceded in death by three daughters and one son: Joyce Scott Thompson March 1, 1984, Larry Dale Scott and Shirley Gale Scott February 26, 1964 and Sherry Lynn Scott February 8, 1965. size=2 _____________________________ size=2 size=2FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 1, 2008 at the size=2 Parrott amp; Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville size=2 By Dr. Paul W.
