size=2Robert U. Johnson of Campbellsville, son of the late Floyd Thomas Johnson and Kathleen Bumbus Johnson, was born August 22, 1933, in Logan County, Kentucky. He died at 9:31 P.M., Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Florida. size=2Age: 74 size=2He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. size=2He attended the Bowling Green Business University, Western Kentucky University alumnus and graduated from the School of Banking of the South in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. size=2He was a member of various civic clubs. size=2He was a retired banker, having been President and C.E.O. of First National Bank of Russell Springs for several years and a former President of First Bancorp of Russell Springs. size=2He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. size=2He united in marriage to Shirl Heady December 21, 1955. size=2Besides his wife, Shirl Johnson of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Mark U.
