Roger W. Reeves

size=2Roger W. Reeves of Versailles, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Reeves and Rosa Mae Roberts Reeves, was born May 1, 1951, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He joined our Lord on Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Versailles. size=2Age: 56 size=2He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Johnrsquo;s Episcopal Church in Versailles and served as president of the Menrsquo;s Club there. size=2After graduating from Campbellsville College, he made a career with Kentucky Farm Bureau. He began his career working in Taylor County while his father was the Agency Manager. Roger was then made the youngest Agency Manager in Kentucky and given the Woodford County Farm Bureau Office in 1973. During his tenure at Kentucky Farm Bureau, he received many awards. size=2Roger was a board member of the Woodford County Parks and Recreation for 24 years, a board member of the Woodford County Country Club, coached Little League for a number of years, played softball on several Central Kentucky teams, was an avid golfer, fisherman, traveler and UK fan. size=2He united in marriage to Linda Fryman. size=2Besides his wife, Linda Reeves of Versailles, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Jennifer Perkins and husband, Wesley, Annie Branstetter and husband, Kevin and Brian Courtney; two grandchildren: Kolton Perkins and Aubrey Rae Perkins; one brother and one sister: Charles Michael Reeves and wife, Sue and Nelda Hogan and husband, Dr. Dan Hogan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. text-align: center size=2______________ size=2 size=2GRAVESIDE SERVICE -2in size=2amp; INTERMENT: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Brookside Cemetery size=2 -2in size=2MEMORIAL SERVICE: 7:00 p.m., Sunday March 2, 2008, at St. Johnrsquo;s Episcopal Church in Versailles.
