He died at 9:35 A.M., Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Tampa, Florida. Age: 78 size=3He professed faith in Christ and was currently attending Campbellsville Christian Church. He had served as a deacon at Palestine Baptist Church for over thirty years. size=3He served as a member of the Taylor County Hospital Board for eight years. size=3He has been a farmer and a farm implement dealer all his life. size=3He united in marriage to Helen Reece June 5, 1949. size=3Besides his wife, Helen Kessler of Campbellsville and Zephyrhills, he is survived by two daughters: Donna Davis and husband, Will and Tammy Cox and husband, Greg of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Jeremiah Davis and wife, Tabetha, Joshua Davis and wife, Kecia, Sarah Layne Cox and Elijah Reece Cox of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Elliott Kessler Davis and Evan Shofner Davis; many other relatives and friends. size=3He was also preceded in death by one brother, Harold G.
