Fay Burris Wilson
Fay Wilson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Leslie Burris and Inez Dixon Burris, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, October 28, 1931. She died at 1:02 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 76 She united in marriage to Charles Wilson March 21, 1950. She was employed by Fruit of the Loom for some thirty-nine years. She professed faith in Christ and attended the Zion Separate Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wilson of Campbellsville; one son and one daughter: Doug Wilson of Danville and Rita Perkins of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: David Benningfield, Ashley Mann and Mistie Lee of Campbellsville, Bryan Hylton of Danville, Lucy Maddox of Shepherdsville and Shirley Yates of Greensburg; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother and two sisters: William Dale Burris, Martha M. Stonerook and Linda Zerman of Ohio; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Ann Wilson in infancy and three brothers: Elroy Burris, Hollis Wayne Burris and Edgar B.
