She was the daughter of the late Charlie Walker and Dottie Rhodes Cox. She was also preceded in death by one son, Marvin Edward Perkins, two brothers, Howard Cox and Lawrence Cox. She is survived by her special caregivers, Jean and Albert Laytart of Elkhorn, adopted grandchildren, Jonathan Laytart, Christy Roach, Belinda Richey, Rhonda Miller, Robin Mendez all of Harrison County, Albert Laytart and Mary Beth Huckalby Funeral services for Ethel Cox will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 2, 2008, at the Lyon-Dewitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Damon Romel, officiating.
