Majeal Hutchins
Majeal Benningfield Hutchins of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Sammy T. Benningfield and Rinnie L. Short Benningfield, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 17, 1921. She died at 6:55 P.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2008, in Florida. Age: 87 She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. She united in marriage to Clyde Hutchins May 28, 1944. He preceded her in death August 24, 1995. She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Jerry Hutchins and wife, Marreet of Carthage, Tennessee, Dr. Robert Hutchins and wife, Teresa of Mobile, Alabama and Jan Hutchins of Altamonte Springs, Florida; one daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Hutchins of Manassas Park, Virginia; seven grandchildren: Rachel Wheeley of Carthage, Tennessee, Jenny Beth Bruce of Paris, Tennessee, Kimberly Smith of Bristow, Virginia; Julie Roberts of Greenville, Tennessee, Christopher Christensen of Belmont, Michigan, Melissa Coffey of Saraland, Alabama and Allie Hutchins of Mobile, Alabama; sixteen great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters: Madlyn Parrott, Juanita and Lynwood Newton, Eldon and Judy Benningfield and Glenn and Shirley Benningfield of Campbellsville, Rev. Ralph and Norma Benningfield of Sparta, Tennessee and Shirley Coffey of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
