Walter Edmon Miller
Edmon Miller, 82, of Campbellsville, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Medco Nursing Home after an illness. He was the son of the late Herlie and Mattie Skaggs Miller, he was born on August 8, 1926 in Marion County, Kentucky. He was united in marriage to Christine Thompson Miller on December 22, 1943. She preceded him in death in October 2000. He was retired owner and operator of Miller Lumber Company and a farmer. He was a member of the Mt. Washington Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 54 years and song leader for 41 years. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Miller, Charlie Miller, Chester Earl Miller and three sisters, Kate Bell, Gladys Thompson and Mary Pearl Miller. He is survived by five children and their spouses, Verlas and Bettie Miller, Garry L and Phyllis Miller, Roger and Karen Miller, Jeanette and Gary Lynn Goodin all of Campbellsville, and Jean and Dennis Doughman of Seminole, Florida , Fourteen grandchildren, Cindy Hiestand, Cheryl Ritter, Ronna Mills, Scott Miller, Aaron Miller, Daniel Miller, Rebecca Miller, Ryan Miller, Chasidy Thompson, Tamara Prather, Jamie Goodin, Wendy Grant, Joey Goodin and Joshua Pike, twenty one great-grandchildren, Brittany and Shawn Mills, Lori, Michael and Katie Hiestand, Clarice, CaRynne and Cayla Ritter, Grayson and Julianne Miller, Mattie and Avery Miller, Magdalena Miller, Lacey, Lilly and Landon Miller, Tyler Goodin, Abigail and Jasmine Grant, Cameron and Jacob Goodin, one sister, Myrtle Huber and one sister-in-law, Ruby Miller both of Campbellsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Mt. Washington Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery. Officiating, Rev.
