Eddie Yates

Eddie Yates of Finley, son of the late Charlie Yates and Lillie Graham Yates, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, October 5, 1915. He died at 11:30 P.M., Monday, September 22, 2008, in Campbellsville. Age: 92 He was a retired carpenter. He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. He united in marriage to Rinnie Sanders and she preceded him in death. He later united in marriage to Geneva Cave June 26, 1965. She preceded him in death March 14, 2007. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Sue Yates of Finley; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Dixie Wise of Campbellsville and Catherine England of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two daughters.
