Florence Kidd Shields
Florence Kidd Shields of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev. Coy Kidd and Tishia Holthauser Kidd was born May 21, 1933 in Hart County, Kentucky. She died at 8:30 P.M., Friday, October 3, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 75 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired office manager for Kentucky Utilities. She united in marriage to Arthur Shields November 25, 1952. Besides her husband, Arthur Shields of Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and one daughter: William A. Shields and fianceacute;e, Angela Godbey, and Catherine Harker and husband, Kenneth all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Chance Harker and Kayla Harker of Campbellsville, Jennifer Shields of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jaclyn Shields of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother and one sister: William Kidd and wife, Patricia of Louisville and Blondina Wood of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law: Margie Fox and husband, Howard of Louisville; five nephews: Kevin Kidd, Kent Kidd, Kirk Kidd and Mark Fox of Louisville, and Jeremy Wood of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends. ___________________ FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at the Parrott amp; Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro.
