William A. Karnes
text-align: center WILLIAM A. KARNES William A. Karnes of Campbellsville, son of Lillie Sexton Karnes and the late Alvin Edgar Karnes, was born May 15, 1943, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:30 P.M., Friday, October 17, 2008 in Campbellsville. Age: 65 He was a retired veteran of the US Air Force after 21 years of service obtaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He also retired from the US Postal Service after 20 years of service. He united in marriage to Wilma Dean Hoosier on February 20, 1965. She preceded him in death November 21, 2006. He is survived by two sons, Robert Karnes of Campbellsville, and Michael Karnes of Carrollton, TX; mother, Lillie Sexton Karnes of Campbellsville; a brother, Michael Karnes of Campbellsville; a sister, Geraldine Jones of Greenwood, MS; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
