J. P. Salmon of Campbellsville, son of the late Rev. John G. Salmon and Zenobia Clark Salmon Totten, was born February 6, 1934, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. He died at 11:25 A.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2008 in Louisville. Age: 74 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church. He united in marriage to Joyce Blevins November 26, 1954. He was a retired employee of the General Electric Company. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Salmon of Campbellsville; two daughters: Debi Ballard and husband, John and Dede Shafar and husband, Fred of Louisville; six grandchildren: John Parks Ballard, Taylor Ballard, Richard Ballard, Brooke Shafar, Payton Parrish and Gabi Parrish of Louisville; one sister, Aleene Miller and husband, Maynard of Versailles; one niece, Karen Blevins Basden of Amarillo, Texas; three nephews: Stewart Miller and wife, Carol of Evanston, Illinois, Mark Miller and wife, Kathy of Newport News, Virginia and Kent Miller and wife, Libby of Versailles; three great-nieces and one great-nephew: Anne Sellers, Katy Miller, Aly Miller and Miles Miller; very special friends, Junior and Patti Southern of Campbellsville, and many other relatives and friends. text-align: center _______________ FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 21, 2008 at Parrott amp; Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville By Rev.
