Everett Lewis ldquo;Duderdquo; Barnett of Campbellsville, son of the late William Blain Barnett and Mary Liza Johnson Barnett, was born February 10, 1920, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:39 P.M., Monday, January 12, 2009, in Campbellsville. Age: 88 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Bourbon Cooperage. He united in marriage to Ora Mae Lawson in March, 1942. Besides his wife, Ora Mae Barnett, of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and two sons: Wanda Perkins and husband, William, Thomas Barnett and wife, Patsy, and Michael Barnett and wife, Fredia of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Tanya Perkins and Alan-Michael Barnett of Campbellsville, Stephanie Wingler and husband, Anthony, of Alabama and Melissa Followell of Elizabethtown; four great-grandchildren: Kristin Wingler, Brandon Wingler, Samantha Followell and Tyler Followell; three brothers and three sisters: Leonard Barnett, Richard Barnett and Mary Kathryn Lawson of Campbellsville, Velma Christerson of Tennessee, Esther Roberts of Illinois and Ralph Barnett of Mt. Washington; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Jimmy Wayne Atwell December 23, 1994.
