Norman Shofner
Norman Shofner of Campbellsville, son of the late Homer Shofner and Bessie Jane Brewer Shofner, was born March 6, 1930, in Bullitt County, Kentucky. He died at 9:35 A.M., Monday, January 12, 2009, in Elizabethtown. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the New Bethelem Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. He united in marriage to Linda Bernice Wright April 21, 1994. Besides his wife, Linda Bernice Shofner, of Campbellsville, he is survived by one sister-in-law, Velda Stevenson and husband, Howard, of Hodgenville; one niece, Vinessa Johnson and husband, Jeff, of Hodgenville; three great-nieces and nephews: Candace Tims and husband, Dan of Campbellsville, Joshua Johnson and wife, Kelly of Louisville and Justin Johnson and wife, Melissa of Hodgenville; four great-great-nieces and nephews: Derek Biven of Hodgenville, Hallie Grace Johnson of Louisville, Paige Tims and Dalton Tims of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.
