Dr. Philip M. Lee
Dr. Philip M. Lee of Campbellsville, son of the late Donald W. Lee and Esther Fields Lee was born in South Bend, Indiana on June 29, 1935. He died at 5:00 A.M., Sunday, February 15, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 73 He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He attended Notre Dame Law School, completed his Master#39;s Degree at Purdue University and earned his Ph.D. in Business at the University of Iowa. He retired from Campbellsville University in 2000, where he served as Professor and Chairman of the Business Department. He united in marriage to Kay L. Conley July 3, 1954. Besides his wife, Kay L. Lee of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and two daughters and their spouses, Cynthia K. and Jerry Purdy of Collierville, Tennessee, Donald W. and Sharon Lee of Bangalore, India, Christine and Gamini Sooriyah-Arachchi of Campbellsville, and John David and Alison Lee of Olive Branch, Mississippi; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Lee of South Bend, Indiana and J. Richard Lee of Arlington, Texas. He is preceded in death by one son, David James Lee; one brother and one sister, Bill Lee and Phyllis Lee. __________________ FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Campbellsville Baptist Church in Campbellsville by Rev.
