Tommy Lee Smothers

Tommy Lee Smothers of Campbellsville, son of the late Tom Smothers and Bessie Lee Tharp Smothers, was born in Marion County, Kentucky,
August 2, 1929. He died at 1:45 P.M., Saturday, October 31, 2009, in Louisville the result of an automobile accident on Highway 55 in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bradfordsville Baptist Church.
He was a well respected bulldozer operator.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by six children: Martha Levon Propes and husband, Brent of Danville, Mary Lee Corbin and Charles Thomas Smothers and wife, Ethel of Campbellsville, Mark Douglas Smothers and wife, Carolyn of Buffalo, Emily Faye Cundiff and husband, Dennis of Greensburg, and Ann Michelle Felton and husband, Allen of Hopewell, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Billy Smothers of Campbellsville and Mary Ann Vaughn of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Lexy Corbin and six siblings: David Smothers, Paul Smothers, Jesse Smothers, James Smothers, Essie Smothers, and Kathleen Smothers. VISITATION: After 5:00 P.M. Monday

Parrott amp; Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Bo Sherrell
BURIAL: Old Liberty Cemetery with full military honors by The Marion County Veterans Honor Guard
