One Injured in One Car Accident

(Columbia, KY)Tpr. Tracy Haynes is investigating a collision that occurred Wednesday morning at 10:58am, 14 miles East of Columbia on Elkhorn Road. Richard Marrado, age 54 of Knifley was traveling West on Elkhorn Road in a 1995 Chevy S10 when he left the roadway, struck a concrete culvert and a utility pole due to being distracted. Marrado was wearing a seat belt.  He was airlifted from the scene to the University of Louisville Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
