John D. Netherland, 77

John D. Netherland of Campbellsville, son of the late C. N. “Nell” Netherland and Amy G. VanCleave Netherland, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 22, 1932.  He died at 9:48 A.M., Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Nashville.   Age:  77

He professed faith in Christ and was a member and active elder of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Carnation Milk Company.

He was a member of the Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F&Am for over fifty years.

He united in marriage to Barbara A. Cox July 3, 1953.

Besides his wife, Barbara Cox Netherland, of Campbellsville, he is survived by a son, Terry Netherland of Elizabethtown; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Netherland of Campbellsville; granddaughter, Katie Netherland of Campbellsville; sister, Mary Alice Reynolds of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Netherland of Campbellsville and Mary Lynn Netherland of Austin, Texas; mother-in-law, Alleen Cox of Campbellsville; sister-in-law, Charlotte Henderson and husband, Lloyd, Jr. of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, John Steven Netherland September 10, 2009 and five brothers and one sister:  Edward Netherland, Charles Netherland, Richard L. Netherland, Earl Netherland, Barbara Sapp and James Netherland in infancy.

VISITATION: After 5:00 P.M., Saturday, Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

MASONIC SERVICES: 7:00 P.M. Saturday
