Alvin Spurling, 77
Alvin Spurling of Campbellsville, son of the late William Spurling and Rhoda Wade Spurling, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 24, 1933. He died at 7:36 P.M., Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 77
He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, Chappell’s Dairy and Jane Todd Hospital.
He is survived by one son and one daughter: Keith Spurling and Pam Gribbins and husband, Eric of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Kasey Spurling of Greensburg, Whitney Spurling, Litchia Gribbins, Kaitlin Gribbins and Austin Gribbins of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Jaelyn Hayden, Drew Hayden, Leah Cook, Jaice Gribbins and Olivia Penrod; sister, Ophelia Hunt of Campbellsville; special friend, Ruth Davis, of Campbellsville; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Spurling and two sisters in infancy.
