JoAnn Williams Burress of Mannsville, daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Williams and Lillie “Mae” Gabehart Williams, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 6, 1940.  She died at 6:05 A.M., Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Greensburg.  Age: 70

She attended Tallow Creek United Methodist Church.

She united in marriage to Charles Burress on April 6, 1962.

Besides her husband, Charles Burress of Mannsville, she is survived by two children:  Jenise (Monroe) Sherrill of Mannsville and Kenneth “Biggen” (Kristi) Burress of Campbellsville; a special granddaughter, Georgia Cash of Mannsville; two other grandchildren, Kendall & Trey of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Courtney and Cory Bottoms; two sisters: Jean Richardson and Geneva Kuprion of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Wayne Burress in infancy; four sisters and six brothers: Esther “Josie” Benningfield, Crystal Dailey, Ellen Wallace, Jane Gaddis, Harmon Williams, Manuel Williams, Robert Williams, Arlie Haynes, Chelsie Williams and Hensley “Blackie” Williams.
