R.B. Tincher, 84

R. B. Tincher of Campbellsville, son of the late Omer Catlett Tincher and Mary Agnes Robinson Tincher, was born in Bath County, Kentucky, March 21, 1926.  He died at 3:42 P.M., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in Louisville.  Age:   84

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church where he was a deacon for several years.  He was media coordinator at the Church for 28 years.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired manager of USS Agri Chemical.

He united in marriage to Tessie Ramsey June 26, 1948.

He is survived by his wife, Tessie Ramsey Tincher of Campbellsville; three sons and two daughters:  Van Tincher and wife, Kathy of Batavia, Ohio, Benny Tincher and wife, Jeanie of Owensboro, Patty Mays and husband, Joe of Campbellsville, Craig Tincher of Lexington and Latonya Bertram of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister:  J. C. Tincher and wife, Elizabeth of Mt. Sterling, Dan Tincher and wife, Loretta and Ann Ramey and husband, Charles of Paris, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Barbara Tincher of Paris, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Tincher February 7, 2010 and a brother, Gerald Tincher.

VISITATION:       5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday

FUNERAL SERVICES:  1:00 P.M., Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. James Jones and Dr. Skip Alexander
