Steve “S.L.” Reynolds, 79

Steve “S. L.” Reynolds of Campbellsville, son of the late Billie Reynolds and Ada Caulk Reynolds, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 18, 1931. He died at 11:58 P.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in Lebanon.  Age:  79

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Brockman Reynolds of Campbellsville; three daughters and five sons:  Michelle Parker, Kay Hedgespeth and husband Barry, Mike Reynolds and wife Susan, Gary Dale Reynolds, Randy Reynolds and wife Rhonda, Scott Reynolds and Greg Reynolds of Campbellsville and Carol Bennett and husband Roland of Atlanta, Georgia; two step-daughters:  Bonnie Shuffett and husband, Don of Greensburg and Vickie Conley of Lexington; fifteen grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;  seven step-great-grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers:  Emma Milby of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Audrey Cowherd and Marcia Sue Colvin of Campbellsville, Tommie Lee Reynolds and Barry Reynolds of Finley and Betty Hall of Newington, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Romey Reynolds Sr., Fletcher Reynolds, Alvin Reynolds, Catherine Lee Reynolds, Elsie Gaddie and Mary Ellen Hedgespeth.

FUNERAL SERVICES:  2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the Parrott &  Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. J. Alvin Hardy
