Alfred “King Al” Blackman, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of Mary E. McVay

Russell and Alfred Willis Blackman, Sr., was born in Biloxi, Mississippi,

October 9, 1970.  He died at 1:58 P.M., Monday, September 27, 2010, in Elizabethtown.  Age:  39

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.  

                                   

He is survived by his mother, Mary E. Russell of Campbellsville; his father and step-mother, Al, Sr. and Teresa Blackman of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; one brother and one sister:  Jimmy Russell and wife, Angela of Campbellsville and Megan Elizabeth Blackman of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; step-grandparents, Joe and Maureen Russell of Texas; three nephews and one niece:  Clayton Russell, II, Jimmy Russell, Jr. Austin Belt and Mary Russell; several aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Clayton Howard “Howie” Russell and grandparents:  Stewart and Elizabeth McVay, Laura Mae Bryant and Elijah Blackman.
