Lieutenant Colonel Retired Edward G. Robinson, Age 89

Lieutenant Colonel Retired Edward G.  Robinson of Campbellsville, son of the late Edward Reese Robinson and Sue Robinson, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, June 20, 1921.  He died at 7:42 P.M., Saturday, September 25, 2010, in Campbellsville.   Age:  89

He professed faith in Christ.

He united in marriage to Dorothea Bauer March 31, 1952.  She preceded him in death November 4, 2006.

He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam, retiring as Lieutenant Colonel after some twenty-four years.  He also served as a bomber pilot.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters:  Dale Robinson and Gary Robinson and wife, Shirley of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, Lana Wesner and husband, Michael of Fallon, Nevada and Carol Rule and husband, Bruce of Elk Horn; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Edward G. Robinson , II.

 GRAVESIDE SERVICE:          12:30 P.M., Monday, October 4, 2010 at Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors
