Roger “Pop” DeSpain, 68

Roger “Pop” Despain of Buffalo, son of the late Luther Despain and Estelle Underwood Despain, was born February 25, 1942, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 2:27 P.M., Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in Buffalo.   Age: 68

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Buffalo Baptist Church.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company after approximately thirty-eight years of service.

He united in marriage to Janice Cline September 1, 1961.

Besides his wife, Janice Cline Despain of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter:   Billy Despain and wife, Lisa of Campbellsville and Jayne Despain Smith of Bedford; two grandsons:  William Elliott Despain of Campbellsville and Treavor Martin Smith of Bedford; mother-in-law, Betty Jayne Cline of Buffalo; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Christopher Todd Smith August 4, 2008.
