Walter Logan “Corky” Scott III of Campbellsville, son of the late Walter Logan Scott Jr. and Mildred Cole Scott Dohoney was born July 8, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:56 A.M., Sunday, May 29, 2011 in Lexington. Age: 72

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He attended Campbellsville College and graduated from Western Kentucky University.

He was the current owner and operator of Scott’s Ladies Apparel having worked in the store for some 58 years.

He united in marriage to Janet Nelson September 22, 1969.

Besides his wife Janet Scott of Campbellsville he is survived by one son, Mark Logan Scott and one granddaughter, Breanna Hope Scott of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister, Ben Cole Scott and wife, Jacki Wethington Scott and Martha Jo Scott Kight and husband Harry Kight of Aiken, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Leigh Allison Scott in infancy.

Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Ron Young and Bro. Ed Loy
