Charles Lee Clark

Charles Lee Clark of Campbellsville, son of the late Elbert “Buddy” Clark and Sadie Oakes Clark, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 9, 1941.  He died at 11:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 20, 2011, in Campbellsville.        Age:    70

He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Union Separate Baptist Church.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Nationwide Uniform.

He is survived by three step-children:  Billy Joe Nelson and wife, Jennifer and Jackie Wayne Nelson and wife, Stephanie of Buffalo and Joshua Ryan Nelson and wife, Alisha of Campbellsville;
three step-grandchildren:  Taylor Marie Nelson, William Blake Nelson and Kaila Jo Nelson of Buffalo; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Aileen Clark of Campbellsville; sister-in-law, Glenda Clark Mattingly of Campbellsville; one uncle, Stanley  Oakes and wife, Henrietta of Campbellsville; father-in-law, Fred Thompson of Campbellsville; special nephew, James Clark and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters:  Dennis Ray Clark, Elbert Herman Clark, Jr., Geraldine Sprowles and Sarah Vance.
