Joseph “Joe” England, Sr.
Joseph “Joe” England, Sr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Hollis J. England and Myrtle Mae Clark England, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 27, 1950. He died at 4:55 A.M., Monday, August 13, 2012 in Campbellsville. Age: 62
He was of the Holiness faith.
He was a former employee of McDonalds and a retired employee of Metzmeier Nursing Home.
He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps and United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Joey England, Jr. and Jonathan England of Campbellsville and Shannon Roark and husband, Gregg of Cincinnati; two step-children: Liz Alsarano and husband, Frankie of Cincinnati and Gilbert Tomer and wife, Martha of Florence; three grandchildren: Alysia Roark, Gregory Roark and Steven Roark; six step-grandchildren: Emily Tomer, Erin Tomer, Marcus Alsarano, Alexis Alsarano, Allyson Alsarano and Blake Alsarano; two brothers and three sisters: Jerry England and wife, Helen, Ray England, Judy Gwinn and husband, Kenneth, Emma Lewis and Rose Rainwater and husband, Danny; one step-brother and four step-sisters: Tony and Michelle Parker and Amanda Clements and husband, Donnie of Campbellsville, Patty Cissell of Russell Springs, Kathy Benedict of Louisville and Bonnie Harris and husband, Gary of New Hope; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Della England, a brother in infancy and his step-mother, Theresa England.
