Gladys Collett
Gladys Collett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Clayton Thompson and Mossie Cupp Thompson was born in Bell County, Kentucky, March 1, 1935. She died at 1:00 A.M., Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Campbellsville. Age: 79
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Holiness Faith.
She united in marriage to Boyd Collett August 31, 1964.
Besides her husband, Boyd Collett, she is survived by one daughter, Sharon Perkins and husband, Billy of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Greg Buckles and wife, Shannon, of Greensburg and John Perkins and wife, Jenna of Campbellsville; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; seven brothers and three sisters: Cecil Thompson, Larry Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Chester Thompson, Clarence Thompson, Clayton Thompson, Jr. and Faye VanOsdol of Tennessee and Cleston Thompson, Geraldine Elam, and Jeanette Miracle of Indiana; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Thompson.
