Robert Max, 87
Mr. Robert L. Max of Campbellsville, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Campbellsville. He was 87 years, 1 month, and 20 days of age. Mr. Max served his country honorably in the United States Army, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from the military with over 24 years of service. He continued his civil service as an employee of the Social Security Administration and the United States Postal Service until retirement.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
A son: Gary Max and wife Margie of Knifley,
One brother: Jimmy Thompson of Memphis, TN,
One sister: Ruby Faye of Indianapolis, IN,
And several other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Theresa (Weidenhoffer) Max, and four siblings.
Mr. Max will be buried in Garland, TN, the town of his birth, where he will lie at rest beside his wife. There will be no visitation.
