Kenneth “Abe” Bagby

Kenneth “Abe” Bagby of Campbellsville, son of the late Coy Bagby and Edna Oakes Bagby, was born in Green County, Kentucky, January 23, 1947. He died at 10:25 A.M., Friday, September 18, 2015, in Lexington. Age: 68
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Kenneth served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Safe Driver Award and the Marksman Badge.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.
He united in marriage to Clara Brown March 14, 1969.
Besides his wife, Clara Bagby, he is survived by one brother and five sisters: Howard Bagby and wife, Pat, Elizabeth Edmonds, Kathern Akin and husband, Theodore, Gearldean Russell and husband, Ronnie, Laverne Marple and husband, Billy and Evelyn Milby all of Greensburg; and a host of brothers and sisters in-law, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by twin brothers in infancy, Odene Bagby and Uden Bagby.

VISITATION: 5-8 P.M., Monday, September 21, 2015, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
