Billy Frank Blevins, 84

Mr. Billy Frank Blevins, the son of the late John William “Bill” and Bertha A. Rucker Blevins, was born on October 18, 1930 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Friday, October 9, 2015 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 84 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a Retired Veteran, having served in the United States Army, he earned an associate degree in criminal justice, he was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed woodworking and nascar.
Survivors include his wife: Brenda Lewis Blevins of Campbellsville; a daughter: Karen Sue Blevins of Amarillo, Texas; a step-son: Eric Conley of Big Ben, Washington; a sister: Joyce Salmon of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Blevins was also preceded in death by a brother: James Lee Blevins.

The funeral service for Mr. Billy Frank Blevins will be conducted Monday, October 12, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Don Watson and Bro. John Loy officiating.
Entombment in the Brookside Cemetery Mausoleum with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Visitation from 5-8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the donation of Gideon Bibles, both can be made at the funeral home.
