David Louis “Buck” Veatch

David Louis “Buck” Veatch of Campbellsville, son of the late William Val Veatch and Annie Lee Shipp Veatch, was born February 14, 1945 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:29 A.M., Friday, February 16, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 73
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple.
Buck was a retired employee of the City of Campbellsville Street Department.
He was an avid horseback rider and one of his favorite things to do was working in the hay fields. He also loved operating heavy equipment.
He united in marriage to Faye Judd on August 31, 1974.
Besides his wife, Faye Judd Veatch of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons: Brian Veatch and Tammy Gibbs Simpson of Campbellsville, Kevin Veatch of Lexington and Matthew Veatch and Trisha Burton of Richmond; four grandchildren: Brittany Michelle Veatch, Avrie Giselle Veatch, Brennan Ryan Veatch and Bradley Louis Veatch; one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Elizabeth Inman; one sister and three brothers: Janice Sallee and husband, Delmar, William Lee Veatch, Carl Veatch and Billy Veatch and wife, Mary Ann of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Louis Veatch November 2, 2017 and two sisters: Mary Ann Veatch and Linda Faye Veatch in infancy.
