Flossie Warren, 91

Mrs. Flossie (Keith) Warren of Campbellsville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home and Rehab Center. Born on March 17, 1927 in Jefferson County to the late Delmar and Flora (Barlow) Keith, she was 91 years and 3 days of age. Mrs. Warren professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a former employee of the Brown and Williams Tobacco Company and Mother’s Cookies in Louisville, and the Nationwide Sewing Factory in Hodgenville, but lived her life as the homemaker to, and wife of, Mr. Herman Warren, who survives.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Her husband: Herman Warren of Campbellsville,

Five children: Linda Riley and husband Steve of Louisville, Brenda Roberts and husband Keith of Louisville, Gayle Cox and husband Stevie of Campbellsville, Carolyn Thompson and husband Billy of Campbellsville, and Roger Warren of Campbellsville,

Ten grandchildren,

Nineteen great-grandchildren,

A host of great-great grandchildren,

And several other family members and close friends.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, James McNear and Randall Leon Warren; one sister, Delph Ray; and two grandchildren, Lauren McCall Thompson and Paul DeWayne Sprowles.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Warren on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery in Buffalo.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 23, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. Those can be made at the funeral home.
