Everett Wilson, 91

Mr. Everett Wilson of Campbellsville, son of the late Mack and Myrtle Alma (Wood) Wilson, was born Friday, September 30, 1927 in Taylor County and departed this life on Monday, October 29, 2018 in Hodgenville at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home. He was 91 years and 1 month of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Miller’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a veteran, having served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Everett was a former truck driver, but always found time to go fishing.

Survivors include his wife: Freda (Perkins) Wilson of Campbellsville; his children: Dana Coomer of Dayton, Ohio, Greg Scott and wife Jill, and James Scott and wife Susan all of Campbellsville, and Patty Keltner and husband Billy Joe of Columbia; a brother: Buford Wilson of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Brooke Coomer and Leeann Asher, both of Ohio; 13 step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 21 step-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Robin Raynor; five brothers: Reed, Ralph, Gilbert, Howard and Floyd Wilson, and a sister: Virginia Taylor.

The funeral service for Mr. Everett Wilson will be Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery. Full military honors will be accorded him by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.

Bro. Daniel Lyons and Bro. John Loper will be officiating the funeral service.

Family requests visitation from 5-8 PM on Tuesday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
