Mr. Robert Dale Wooley of Campbellsville was born on November 18, 1958 in Louisville to the late William Harold and Dorothy Jean (Morris) Wooley. He departed this life on Friday, March 8, 2019 in Bardstown at the Landmark Nursing Home, being 60 years, 3 months, and 10 days of age. Mr. Wooley, or “Bobby”, as he was affectionately known, was a sweet, caring, and fun-loving person. His simple but sincere heart always looked beyond his own difficulties and tried to find a way to make someone laugh – and he was usually successful. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Victory Church in Campbellsville.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

Seven siblings: William H. “Bud” Wooley and wife Denise of Campbellsville, Mary Louise Labardini and husband Mike of Texas, James Howard Wooley and wife Debbie of Connecticut, Ronnie Allen Wooley and wife Peggy of Columbia, Sylvester Morris Wooley and wife Carol of Bowling Green, Shelia Gail Earl and husband Jeff of Florida, and Betty Wood and husband Bill of Alabama,

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and close friends.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Coppage and Nellie Perkins.

The family chose cremation. All services were held privately.

Mr. Wooley will be laid to rest with his parents in the Liberty Cemetery, Taylor County, KY at a later date.
