Loyd Bell, 71

Mr. Loyd Wayne Bell of the Levelwoods community passed from this life on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his home after a valiant fight with cancer. Born on April 19, 1948 to the late Creed and Myrtle (Warren) Bell, he was 71 years, 3 months, and 30 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Larue County. He was a former production worker at Kentucky Cooperage and a farmer. Mr. Bell was married to Mrs. Kimberly (Brown) Bell, who preceded him in death. He enjoyed keeping his yard tidy and neat and working on small engines, but his first love was his grandkids. He was especially proud of them and loved spending as much time as possible with them.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

Three children: Angela Fields and husband Joey, Renee Bell, and Joey Bell and wife Annie, all of Campbellsville,

Four siblings: Larry Bell and wife Annette of Larue County, and Arvin Bell, Gary Bell and wife Jeannie, and Junior Morris, all of Campbellsville,

Nine grandchildren: Olivia Fields, Randi Jo Giles, Emily Fields, Levi Fields, T.J. Atwood, Deklan Wayne Bell Parker, Sydney Benningfield, Mallory Dowell, and McKenna Dowell,

One great-granddaughter: Ava Fields,

And a host of other family and friends.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Bell on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Will Sipes will be officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethel Church Rd, Campbellsville, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 19, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
