James Thomas Sprowles, 53
James Thomas Sprowles, the son of Larry Thomas and Helen (Shofner) Sprowles, was born September 14, 1967 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at his residence in the Sprowles Ridge Community. He was 53 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church and was an automobile mechanic.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and his family.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a daughter: Emily Elizabeth Sprowles of Campbellsville; a brother: Barry Sprowles of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Hannah Sprowles as an infant.
The funeral service for James Thomas Sprowles will be conducted Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Zion Cemetery. Bro. Freddy Thompson will be officiating.
Family requests visitation after 3:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.
