Mac Arthur ‘Mac” Cox, the son of Pernie (Lawson) Cox, was born October 8, 1942 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 8:55 P.M. in Campbellsville at his home. He was 78 years of age.
He was a farmer and a retired lineman for Taylor County RECC.
Mac enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and all his farm animals.
He is survived by six children: Susan Marie Cox and Danny Keith Cox and wife Angie all of Greensburg, Wanda Sue Buck and husband George, Roger Cox and wife Franki, Ricky Allen Cox and wife Sabrina and Kylar Cox all of Campbellsville; a half-sister: Cassie Brady of Lebanon; twelve grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Arthur Wayne Cox.

The funeral service for Mac Arthur Cox will be conducted Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green River Memorial Cemetery.

Bro. Dennis Penick will be officiating.

Family requests visitation after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday until time for the service.
