Mrs. Doris Kay Judd of Campbellsville passed from this life on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home. Born on July 27, 1947 in Green County to the late Will Andy and Gertrude Katherine (Vaughn) Druin, she was 74 years, 7 months, and 7 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Summersville Baptist Church. Mrs. Judd was a graduate of Campbellsville College, where she had earned an associate’s degree in business. She was a former seamstress, sold Avon products over 45 years, and was an account manager for US Airways. Mrs. Judd was a mother and grandmother first, though, always leading by example, whether it be how to love, how to pray, or when to play a prank – and she was usually the best at all three.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Three children: Rebecca Kaye Williams and husband Bob of Campbellsville, Terri Marie Loutfi of Campbellsville, and John Nicholas Hall and wife Leslie of Greensburg,

A sister: Marietta Jeffries of Bedford, Indiana,

A sister-in-law: Mildred Druin of Campbellsville,

Eight grandchildren: Laura Williams, Miranda Wiggins and husband Lane, Stephanie Shelton and husband Jerry, Michael Scott, Natalie Smith and husband Dwight, Abby Sarmiento, Nalan Atkinson, and Jasmine Oller,

A close friend: Marcia Winn,

Eleven great-grandchildren,

And a host of other family members and friends.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Othel Nelson “Double Dry” Judd, and three siblings, Fredrick Vaughn, Silvia Cave, and Noel Barkley Druin.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Judd on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Green County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10, from 5:00-8:00 PM EST (4:00-7:00 PM CST).

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.
